Vellai Thamarai is an association located in the south of Puducherry , the wellknown Pondichery with a branch in France

     Vellai Thamarai stand for the flower Lotus blanc . In the ndian culture it is the  pure knowledge symbol . It raise from the mud and pierce the water

 in order to blossom out in the sunlight.

The association was fouded by Ajit and Selvi SARKAR who founded the   Cultural Center "Soleil d'Or " in Paris 30 years ago .
